It’s time for the 2nd annual NBA 2K charity tournament. For the second year in a row the award winning sports news and talk TV show Real Fans Real Talk will be hosting its charity NBA 2k Tournament. The tournment will be played on the Playstation 4. The first round of the tournament will be held on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at Bleachers Bar & Grill in Brooklyn NY. The final four players will then move on to play at the Barclay Center for the $500.00 cash prize before the Brooklyn Nets vs Indiana Pacers starting at 4pm Sunday December 16th. Each player that registers for the tournament will be given 1 ticket to the Nets vs Pacers game access to watch the finals in the conference room at the Barclays Center before the game. Money raised from the 2 day event will be donated to the Not For Profit organization Family On Three founded by former pro basketball player Anthony Mason Jr who is the son of the late NY Knicks legend Anthony Mason.

Terms and Conditions

1. Gameplay: Each entrant must pick from one of the 30 current NBA team with the default NBA2k18 roster. Both contestants facing each other can pick the same team. Deciding which contestant is Home or Away and the camera angle will be decided by a coin toss. The winner of the coin toss can either decide to be the home team or the camera angle and the other contestant will decide the remaining option. The first and second round will be 3 minute quarters. The 3rd round will be 4 minute quarters. The final 2 rounds will be 5 minute quarters. Overtime periods for all games in every round will be 2 minutes. No pausing allowed while the ball is in play during the game unless you are in possession of the ball.

2. Entries and Re=entry: There is a maximum of 32 entries. Re=entries are permitted if the maximum entries of 32 haven’t been reached. No re-entries after the first round has concluded.

3. Code of Conduct: Swearing, screaming, abusive or threatening statements are strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification. Any damage to property including but not limited to controllers, television, or other items at the venue may be criminally prosecuted. Any physical altercations with contestants or any other individuals may be criminally prosecuted.

4. Release of Liability: You acknowledge that you are at least 18 years of age as of November 14th 2017. All contestants must provide a valid state or federal ID and sign a document that you release 4 The fan Productions of liability for any issues that arise as a result of the event including but not limited to personal injury.
